CME Night | Primary Aldosteronism: Back to the Future.. or the Past (November 2016)

Prevalence studies indicate that Primary Aldosteronism (PA) is a common cause of secondary hypertension. Current practice guideline espouses the use of adrenal venous sampling as the arbiter of surgical management. A recent study (SPARTACUS) published in the Lancet challenges the guideline and suggests a simpler approach to the management of PA.
