The EMSS Members’ CME night was held on 23rd Oct 2018 at the Singapore Recreation Club.

We were honoured to have Prof Raja C.Rajasoorya as our guest speaker to share with the audience a personal collection and stories of patients with simple radiological plain films collected over more than 30 years which were helpful in the diagnostic process.  Modern diagnostics in endocrinology has seen vast improvements in endocrine diagnosis.  This has particularly been aided by the refinements in computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, positron emission tomography, interventional radiology and bone densitometry amongst others. The speaker also argued a case for clinical endocrinologist not to lose track of reading and interpreting simple plain films as part of his diagnostic armamentarium.
